took part in the TNP Big Walk organized by my company today. woke up hours before the rooster, getting all geared up for the 10km big walk. met up with a colleague while his dad drove us to Kallang's MacDonald. at 6:30am, the entrance were already busted with enthusiatic walkers.
you can see the dropped-out soles along the route. old couples hand in hand. children tagging behind their parents. curious onlookers. shoppers peering down above the bridges. us cheering at the handicapped participants. and Nikonians are everywhere with their super duper DSLRs.
its a good experience for a first timer like me. the thought of giving up already haunt before i reach 5km. ultimately, its all yours when you've completed the course. 10KM woot (sounds "sua gu" here). the longest distance of walk in my life so far. next time, it shall me and friends.
